Donald Lee “Skip” Snook, 68 , of 438 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg entered into rest at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on November 14, 1948 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Elwood M. Snook and Agnes L. (Ulrich) Snook.

He graduated from Mifflinburg High School class of 1967.

Skip worked at Pennsylvania House Furniture, Lewisburg for many years in shipping dept until his retirement.

He was a long time member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #1396, Mifflinburg and truly treasured his membership.  He grew up in New Berlin where he attended Emmanuel United Church of Christ.

Skip was an avid bowler, reader and enjoyed challenging puzzles.

Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Joanne M. Snook of Wilcox, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosella A. and Randy Vandermark of Milton, Joanne M. and Jerry Heintzelman of Lewisburg, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother in infancy.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Tuesday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the memorial service will be held with the Rev. Mark Cantarall, officiating.

Interment will be in New Berlin Cemetery.
