Fred F. Stoltzfus, 70, Lewisburg

Fred Floyd Stoltzfus, 70 , of 1137 Spruce Run Road, Lewisburg went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2015 due to a logging accident in Buffalo Twp., Union County.

He was born on May 21, 1945 in Reading, a son of the late Mast B. and Mabel K. (Petersheim) Stoltzfus.  On June 12, 1968, at the Millmont Mennonite Church he married the former Rhoda E. Longenecker, who survives.

Fred worked as a logger.

Fred loved the Lord with all his heart. His family and church were very important to him.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law; Mast P. and JoAnne of Millerstown, Jesse R. and Ruthanna of Bolivia, Jonathan F. and Loretta Stoltzfus of Blairsville, four daughters and sons-in-law; Virginia S. and Abe Guenter of Bolivia, Rachal J. and Jim Shertzer of Aurora, NY, Joanna F. and Peter Embry of Kemp, TX, Esther B. and Patrick Embry of Emory, TX, 34 grandchildren, 18 siblings; J. Park Stoltzfus of Sunbury, Elam R. Stoltzfus of Lewisburg, John M. Stoltzfus of Hillside, CO, Paul D. Stoltzfus of Lewisburg, Timothy L. Stoltzfus of Lewisburg, Elvin E. Stoltzfus of Lewisburg, Dale J. Stoltzfus of Lewisburg, 11 sisters; Barbara L. Metzger of Gettysburg, Leona M.  Graybill of Granville Summit, PA, Ada R. Longenecker of Lewisburg, Esther G. Metzler of Farmingdale, ME, Sue Horst of Harrisonburg, VA, Rose M. Huyard of Grottoes, VA, Edith M. Burkholder of Siox Lookout, ONT, Canada, Miriam E. Herr of Lititz, Tina M. Weaver of New Columbia, Kenyatta J. Moyer of Mifflinburg, Siobohn L. Martin of Mifflinburg .

He was preceded in death by triplet grandsons.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday and from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday at the Hartleton Mennonite Church, Laurel Road, Millmont, where the funeral will be held at 10:00 am of Friday, with the church ministry officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be; Mast P. Stoltzfus, Ryan K. Stoltzfus, Jesse R. Stoltzfus, Ivan R. Shertzer, Jonathan F. Stoltzfus, Jeffrey W. Stoltzfus, Nathaniel P. Guenter and Anthony W. Stoltzfus.
