Lydia M. Reiff, 96, of formerly of 2983 Beaver Run Road, Mifflinburg entered into rest 5:25 PM on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the residence of her daughter.

She was born on September 17, 1919 in East Earl Township, the daughter of the late Rufus M. and Lydia S. (Martin) Martin.  On November 16, 1941, she married Paul M. Reiff, who preceded her in death on August 13, 1978.

Lydia was a homemaker and a member of Vicksburg Old Order Mennonite Church.

Surviving are eight sons and daughters-in-law, Phares and Lena Reiff of Lewisburg, Titus and Ada Reiff of East Earl, Paul and Anna Reiff of Shiloh, OH, James and Esther Reiff of Greenwood, WI, John and Anna Mary Reiff of Latham, MO, Luke and Ina Reiff of Greenwood, WI, Edwin and Grace Reiff of Fortuna, MO, Earl and Edith Reiff of Noxon, MT, five daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Allen Martin of Mifflinburg, Lucy and Allen Oberholtzer of Mifflinburg, Elizabeth and Amos Oberholtzer of Mifflinburg, Mabel and Warren Martin of Shelby, OH, Lydia and Clayton Shirk of Delano, TN, 95 grandchildren, 297 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters in infancy, six brothers, three sisters, and seven grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday at the Home of Eugene Oberholtzer, 2933 Beaver Run Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral be held at 9:00 am on Friday, with further services beginning at 9:30 am at the Vicksburg Old Order Mennonite Church, with the church’s home ministry officiating.

Interment will be in the Vicksburg Old Order Mennonite Cemetery.
