Rebecca Ann Johnson, 76, of 1030 West Market Street, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 2:05 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center.
She was born on September 28, 1940 in Ebensburg, the daughter of the late Grant Cecil and Margaret Ann (Powell) Kinnan. On February 10, 1968, she married Leslie Wayne Johnson, who survives.
Becky worked in area nursing homes as a registered nurse and also for Harrisburg Area Community College training nurses’ aides for 10 years.
She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Kreamer.
Becky was an avid reader, seamstress, a great cook, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Kristen A. and Harold R. Lamey of Mifflinburg; one son, Karl L. Johnson of Selinsgrove; two grandchildren, Joshua Lamey and Julia Lamey; one brother, Dennis G. Kinnan of Maryland; one sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis J. and Henry Hoffman of Johnstown.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 AM on Monday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 11, with the Rev. James R. Taylor, officiating.
Interment will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
