William Allen Oberdalhoff

June 19, 1954 — May 14, 2017

William A. Oberdalhoff, 62, of 494 Hildabrand Lane, Mifflinburg entered into rest on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 5:15 pm at the Gatehouse at Susquehanna Health Cancer Center.

He was born on June 19, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of the late Edward and Lillian (Phillips) Oberdalhoff.  On May 16, 1997 he married Judy Mitchell.  Together, they shared almost 20 years of wedded memories.

Will was a Master Plumber. He had such a kind and gentle spirit and was dedicated to everyone in his life.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Will enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, riding horses, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Union County Sportsman Club as well as S.A.S.S. (The Single Active Shooting Society) where he was known as “Boxcar Willy”.  Whenever Will and Judy would travel to Baltimore, they would be sure to stop and eat Will’s favorite food, Maryland Crabs.

He was a member of the Mifflinburg Church of Nazarene, and enjoyed being a caravan driver.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Kurt Bragunier of Baltimore, MD, Rachael and Adam Downes of Mount Airy, MD; three grandchildren, Flannery Bragunier, Hayden Downes and Jackson Downes; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Douglas and Doris Oberdalhoff of New Oxford, PA and Edward Oberdalhoff of Port Deposit, MD; and his daughters’ mother, JoAnn Flannery of Baltimore, MD.

Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation with the family on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the First Church of the Nazarene, 12 Market Street, Mifflinburg.  William’s celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Wayne S. Krell, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, to honor William memorial contributions may be sent to Susquehanna Health Cancer Center or to Susquehanna Home Care & Hospice, 1100 Grampian Boulevard, Williamsport.
