Donald R. Miller

Donald R. Miller, 80, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 01:23 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on July 15, 1938 in Cowan, a son of the late Bland E. and Esta M. (Snyder) Miller.  On May 23, 1970, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Cowan he married the former Evelyn A. Raker, who survives.

Don was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School Class of 1957.

He served in the Army National Guard from 1962 to 1968.

Don was retired from Yorktowne Kitchens.

He was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cowan.

Don enjoyed all sports, listening to music and animals.  He especially liked to spend time at his cabin.

Surviving are three sons, James C. Miller of Columbia County, Michael T. Miller of Montandon, Richard W. and wife Jennifer (Styers) Miller of Penns Creek, and 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sister, Ethel Lois Miller, Ruth Irene Miller Emery.

Family and friends will gather for a private viewing and funeral conducted by Pastor Eric Reamer and his son licensed minister, Richard W. Miller, officiating.

Interment will be in the East Side Cemetery, Mifflinburg.
