James Leroy "Butch" Camp Jr., 62, a lifelong resident of Hartley Township, died unexpectedly on Nov. 6, 2017, at his home in Glen Iron.

He was born May 13, 1955, to Viola (Rager) Camp and the late James Leroy Camp Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Nina (Richart) Camp. They were married on May 12, 1984, at Fairview Church of the Nazarene in Muncy by Neil Shea.

He was well known in the Pines Toppers Hunting Club Circle and the Bread Pudding Gang.

He had a way with children, whether putting them to sleep on his belly or just being the big guy with a hearty laugh. He was a lovable Teddy Bear.

The most important event in his life occurred when Jim turned his life over to Jesus Christ in January 2010.
He was a member and usher of New Hope Bible Church.

He is also survived by his daughters who he was very proud of, Carrie (Dennis) Charles of Benton; Chrissy (Vincent) Fabrico of Wall NJ; Jessie (Josh) Bordner of Tiverton RI; and Jamie (Thomas "T.J.")
