Jean Constance Hock, 93, of 20 80 Red Bank Road, Mifflinburg passed away at 06 :21 on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on January 16, 1924 in Patterson, NJ, a daughter of the late George S. and Tyna (Van Der Vliet) Richmond. On November 16, 1946, she married the former Joseph Anthony Hock, who passed away on January 09, 2005.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Jean was a homemaker.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, antiques and just spending time at home.
Surviving are two sons, James J. and Christine Hock of Mifflinburg, Joseph A. Hock, Jr of Mifflinburg, two grandsons, James M. and Wife Stephanie Hock of Richmond, VA, Matthew P. Hock of Phoenix, AZ, four great granddaughters, one brother, William H. Richamond of Fairlawn, NJ.
She was preceded in death by son, Barry S. Hock, and one daughter, Gail J. Hock.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 7 to 9 PM on Tuesday and from 1 to 1:30 PM on Wednesday at Adamo’s, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 1:30, with the Rev. John D. Yost, officiating.
Interment will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean’s memory may be sent to charity of ones choice.
