Amy Lynn (Toogood) Wenrich, 60, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Monday, January 29, 2024 at The Gatehouse Hospice at UPMC Divine Providence, Williamsport.
Born on January 28, 1964 in Camden, NJ, a daughter of the late Richard Wayne and Judith Grace (Redmer) Toogood. On November 17, 2013, she married Dean T. Wenrich, who survives.
Amy worked as a dental assistant for Oberheim Orthodontics and then she began assisting the Oberheim family with caring for their children and assisting with various homemaking duties. She ultimately became a part of the Oberheim family, and cherished the friendships she had developed. Earlier in life she worked at SUM Child Development for 11 years.
She enjoyed gardening, painting gourds, homesteading, and visiting Cape May, NJ.
Her family was the most important part of her life and absolutely cherished being a loving wife, mom, mimi, and sister. Surviving in addition to her loving husband, Dean, are three beloved adult children, Emily Barben and partner Dustin Eberhart of Lewisburg, Heather and Andrew Stahl of Mifflinburg, David and Lacee Barben of Middleburg, 8 grandchildren, Noah, Wyatt, Allison, Charlotte, Levi, Oliver, and Johnathan, three siblings, Susan and Gary Shepherd of Falmouth MA, Richard and Mary Toogood, Pilesgrove, NJ, Andrew and Kate Toogood of Cape May, NJ. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Henry Barben.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Mifflinburg church of the Nazarene, 12 E. Market Street, Mifflinburg, where the memorial service will be held at 11 with Pastor Steve Stoltzfus of Redeemer Fellowship Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Mazeppa Cemetery.
