Barry B. Beers

Barry B. Beers, 79, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on September 12, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center.

Born on August 23, 1945 in Lewistown, the son of the late George Henry Beers and Dorothy (Graham) Beers of Mifflintown. On April 15, 1980 he married Donna Beaver, who passed away on August 21, 2023.

Barry proudly served in the Navy on the USS WASP.

Barry worked as a mechanic in the auto industry for many years and retired from the Navy Depot.

Barry was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose, all at various locations.

Barry and Donna loved vacationing in Massachusetts.

Barry is survived by two sons, Tim Beers, Brian Beers; two daughters, Tammy Warner, Brenda Carter; one step-daughter, Brenda Bittner; Sisters, Eleanor Gingrich and Dora Solt, along with numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and step-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Catherine E. Adair (Beers); one brother, Frederick Beers; and one sister, Wynonna Zeiders.

Interment with his wife, Donna, will be in Fort Indiantown Gap Cemetery, Annville.
