Bernice C. Yohe

December 29, 1916 — February 19, 2012

Bernice C. (Klinger) Yohe, 95, a resident of Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village for 2 A� years and formally of Pillow, entered into eternal rest at 8:15 pm on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Evangelical Community Hospital.

She was born on December 29, 1916, in Dalmatia, Northumberland County, a daughter of the late Penrose and Ida (Kratzer) Klinger. In 1936, she married William E. Yohe, who preceded her in death on November 13, 1982.

She attended Eureka Schools and was a member of the Pillow God's Missionary Church.

Bernice was a seamstress at the Millersburg Shirt Factory, retiring in 1978.

Mrs. Yohe is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene Y. and Robert J. Sholley of Lewisburg; a grandson, Jody W. and his wife L. Renee Sholley of Mifflinburg; a grand daughter-in-law, Mary P. Sholley of Harrisburg; 2 great-grandsons, Heath J. Sholley of Mifflinburg, Dustin R. Sholley of Mifflinburg; step-great grandchildren, Daniel Wagner of Lewisburg, Nicholas Wagner of Portland, OR, Matthew Wagner of Washington, D.C. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Bernice was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott S. Sholley; a great-grandson, Zachariah R. Sholley; 7 siblings, Mae Phillips, Fae Smeltz, Ida Smeltz, Amelia Henninger, Fred Klinger, Lee Klinger and Kay Klinger.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 to 11 on Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 12 E. Market Street, Mifflinburg, the celebration of Bernice's life will begin at 11 with Pastor Wayne Krell, officiating. Following the service, all are invited to fellowship with the family in the church hall. Burial will follow the fellowship time.

Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Herndon.

Funeral arrangements are by the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg.
