Bonnie L. (Bingaman) Keister, 78, of Lewisburg, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewisburg.
She was born on May 25, 1947, the daughter of the late Blanche Calder. In 2001, she married Harlan “Earl” Keister, who preceded her in death. Bonnie was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
Bonnie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kind heart and sense of humor. She found joy in playing bingo, shopping, and reading. She had a deep love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of flowers and bird watching. Bonnie treasured her family and embraced every moment spent with them, and everyone looked forward to her annual summer picnics. Later in life, she especially enjoyed visits with her beloved dog, Tilly.
Surviving are her companion, Millard “Jake” Aikey; her children, Cory (Bobbie) Botts, Barry Stahl, Vickie (Wes) Stahl, and Carla (Allen) Stahl-Chapman; one sister, Wanda (George) Zechman; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Hart.
Bonnie leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care and support of Bonnie over the past several years.
There will be no public services. Interment will be held at a later date in Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
