Bryan Douglas Oberheim, DMD, 43, of Mifflinburg, entered into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior at 12:44 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 at his cabin on Penns Creek.
He was born on October 12, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Carl and Faye (Palmer) Oberheim of Millmont.
On March 30, 2002, he married the love of his life, Christina Hoffman, who survives. Together, Bryan and Chrissy were blessed with 13 years of marriage and 4 beautiful children.
Bryan was a 1991 graduate of Mifflinburg High School, and then he went on to follow in his father and brother's footsteps with dental school. Bryan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994 with an undergraduate degree, and graduated from Dental School in 1998 from the University of Pittsburgh as Salutatorian. In 2001, Dr. Oberheim graduated Orthodontic School with honors and was inducted into the national honors fraternity of American Kappa Upsilon.
In 2001, Dr. Oberheim opened his practice in Selinsgrove, and opened his Lewisburg branch location in 2002.
Bryan enjoyed life! He enjoyed fishing and hunting, hiking and jogging; and wrestling when he was younger. He was always eager to share his love for Christ with others. He witnessed to anyone and everyone that he could, even in his dental offices.
He was a member and deacon of the Vicksburg Christian Church. He was a devoted husband and father, and took great pleasure in spending as much time as he could with his wife, children and family.
In addition to his wife and parents, Bryan is survived by his four children: Elaine Anne, Christian Douglas, Joshua Bryan, and Anna Christina Oberheim, all at home; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Brenda Oberheim, Williamsport, eight nieces and nephews, and his father-in-law, Joseph Hoffman of Mifflinburg.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Sheryl Hoffman and brother-in-law, Brian Novesal.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Tuesday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 12 East Market Street, Mifflinburg, PA. The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Jeffrey A. Yount, officiating.
Interment will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bryan`s memory may be sent to Vicksburg Community Christian Church, c/o Missions Fund, 6460 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, PA 17844.
