Carol Elizabeth Erdley, 77, of Lewisburg entered into rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her residence.
Born on November 13, 1946 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Helen Marie (Connelly) Bowersox. On July 29, 1973, at St.John's United Church of Christ church in Lewisburg she married Donald E. Erdley, who preceded her in death. T
She graduated from Lewisburg High School Class of 1964.
Carol retired from Bucknell University working as a custodian and in dining services. She also worked as a server at the Temperance House and the Lewisburg Inn.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and the former Mifflinburg Moose.
She enjoyed knitting, fishing, especially at Black Lake in New York, and scratching off lottery tickets.
Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Missy and Dan Marks of Mifflinburg, Barb and Gary II Moore of Berwick, Rebecca and Tim Sossong of Moses Lake, WA, Tammy Chapin of Benton, one son, Jeffrey Erdley of Mifflinburg, 12 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and one brother and sister-in-law, James and Kay Bowersox of CT.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Travis Chapin.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 5 to 6 pm on Tuesday, March12, 2024 at Adamo Funeral home, 16 Walnut street, Mifflinburg where the funeral will be held at 6 pm with Pastor Alice Rauch officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carol's memory may be sent to St. John's United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
