Chad Emerson Terry, 36, of Lewisburg, PA stepped from time into eternity and met his Savior on March 26, 2024. Born on July 2, 1987, in Williamsport PA to his loving parents Marc E. and Karen J. (Witmer) Terry of Lewisburg.
Chad was a graduate of Meadowbrook Christian School. His precision and attention to detail were evident in everything he pursued, mirroring his father's ability to fix anything that required expertise. The phrase “that’s not possible” was a challenge to him that always resulted in him finding the most brilliant and creative solutions.
Those who knew Chad were always left with a smile on their face. His love for people was rooted in his love for his Savior, Jesus. His desire was for everyone to know Jesus. Chad was intentional with all his friendships leaving them feeling inspired, encouraged and loved to the fullest. He always gave of himself, asking for nothing in return.
His greatest joys in life were spending quality time with people, watching NASCAR with his family, and being in the shop with his dad and brother at MAC Towing & Hauling, their family business. He was always up for an adventure no matter how big or small, from driving across the country to making a Sheetz run late at night.
Chad is survived by his devoted parents Marc & Karen Terry; his brother Andrew, sister-in-law Lauren Terry, and nephew Cameron; paternal grandparents Harold and Shirley Terry; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and additional relatives who held a special place in Chad's life. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William and Phyllis Witmer.
The Celebration of Life Service for Chad Terry will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 3 p.m. at Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton, with Pastor Steve Stoltzfus officiating. A dinner will follow at 5 p.m. at Lewisburg Alliance Church.
Interment was in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia on Saturday, April 6.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chad's honor to “The Terry Family Fund, c/o Mifflinburg Bank and Trust Co.” Donations can be mailed to Mifflinburg Bank and Trust, 250 E. Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 or dropped off at any bank branch.
