Clarence W. Beiler

Clarence W. Beiler, 90, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his residence.

 Born on January 19, 1934 in Elverson, Chester County, a son of the late Issac and Fannie (Weaver) Beiler. On November 17, 1956, at Line Lexington Mennonite Church he married the former Dorothy F. Ruth, who survives. 

Clarence and his wife moved to Mifflinburg in 1958 and began dairy farming until 1996. After farming, he drove truck for a number of years. In his retirement he provided transportation for the Old Order Mennonite community. 

He was a member of Boyer Mennonite Church, Middleburg, where he served in various positions in the church. He sang with Susquehanna Valley Men's Chorus for many years. Clarence served in the Pennsylvania Holstein Association and DHIA, as well as many other farm organizations. 

Surviving in addition to his wife, Dorothy, are five adult children and spouses, Janet (Sam) Miller, Ephrata, Linda Beiler, West Milton, Marilyn (Brian) King, Denver, PA, Ken (Karen) Beiler, Mifflinburg, JoAnn (Ken) Blank, Middleburg, 8 grandchildren and spouses, Ryan (DiAnne) Beiler, Middleburg, Jay Beiler, Raleigh, NC, Yvette (Patrick) Burr, Clinton, NC, Jeanette (Curt) Stackhouse, Bellefonte, Nathan (Sarah) Blank, Middleburg, Janelle Blank, Elk Grove, CA, Amanda King, and Darren King both of Denver, PA, 5 great grandchildren, Colton Beiler, Jacob Beiler, Madison Burr, Colt Stackhouse, Adley Blank, four sisters and spouses, Martha Deitrich, Bellefonte, Naomi Keiper, Winfield, Verna Mae (Ken) Buckwalter of New Holland, Arlene (Ron) Gipe of Greencastle, brother and sister-in-law, Elam and Charlotte Beiler of Middleburg, brother-in-law, Herbert Hoover of New Carlisle, OH. 

He was preceded in death by his step mother, Anna (Fisher) Beiler, three sisters, Ada Ginder, Anna Mary Hoover, Irene Beiler, four brothers-in-law, Carl Deitrich, Warren Keiper, Tom Miller, Benjamin Ginder, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Beiler. 

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 and on Monday from 10 to 11 AM at Boyer Mennonite Church, 1472 West Ridge Road, Middleburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Matt Schrag officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
