Clifford David Zimmerman

Clifford David Zimmerman, 90, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born on February 22, 1936, in West Buffalo Township, he was the son of the late Lester Leroy Zimmerman and Isabelle Kathryn (Pontius) Zimmerman. On November 15, 1967, he married the former Phylis Jean Jenny, who preceded him in death. Together, they shared many years of marriage.

Clifford was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and later retired from the Navy Reserve as an HT1 (Hull Maintenance Technician First Class).

Clifford worked for Spivey Rentals as a supervisor and retired in 1999. After retiring, he moved to New Berlin and began working for the Hoover family of Mifflinburg, helping deliver sewing machines and tractors.

He was a member of the Mifflinburg VFW, Post 1964; the American Legion in New Berlin; and the Fleet Reserve Association.

Surviving are one son, Colin Zimmerman of North Carolina; three grandchildren Adrian, Nicholas, Holly; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Roy and Dawn Zimmerman and Robert Zimmerman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phylis; two brothers, Orville Zimmerman and Russell Zimmerman; and his parents.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
