Donald Eugene Houtz, 65, formerly of Middleburg most recently of 951 Mahoning Street, Milton entered into eternal rest at 9:15 PM on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Manor at Penn Village.
He was born on December 16, 1946 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Ira Lincoln and Grace Ernestine (Shively) Houtz.
Donald worked at SUNCOM Industries for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, watching TV, camping, attending family reunions, and rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies and Penn State football.
Surviving is one sister and brother in law; Nancy L. Conrad and husband, Melvin P. of Middleburg, three nephews; Michael G. Houtz of Troxelville, Kevin A. and Katrina M. Conrad of Middleburg, Daniel L. Houtz of New York, one niece; Tammy G. Keister and husband, Steven D. of Middleburg, six great nephews and one great niece, Ronnie Berresford of Selinsgrove, Andrew Houtz of Troxelville, Todd Chappell of Middleburg, Brett Houtz of Troxelville, Cameron Conrad, Shane Conrad both of Middleburg, Patricia Chappell of Middleburg. Also, he is survived by his caregivers, Becky and Brian Digan of Milton.
He was preceded in death by Brother, Robert Leroy Houtz, died on March 1, 1977, a great nephew, Michael David Houtz died on March 20, 2006.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday and 10 to 11 AM on Friday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg. Follow by the funeral at 11, with Rev. Alvin Smith, officiating.
Interment will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
