Donna J. Everitt, 82, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Oak Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born June 12, 1944, in Lewisburg, and was the daughter of the late Francis S. and Catherine Jean (Wagner) Zeller. On November 18, 1961, she married Carl D. Everitt, who survives. Together, they shared 64 years of memories.
Donna was employed as a waitress at Tasty Freeze in Mifflinburg, Yoder's Restaurant and Pizza Hut. She also worked at Yorktowne Cabinet, drove a school bus for the Mifflinburg School District for 13 years, and worked at the food stand in the Lewisburg Farmers Market.
She was a former member of Cowan Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, and helped organize the annual Pork Supper. She later joined the Mifflinburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, where she served on the social committee. She currently attends Hillside Bible Church. Donna was also a 4-H leader in Cowan for several years, actively involved with youth sports, and dedicated her time to transporting and hosting kids for local events. She especially enjoyed planning and hosting family reunions for both sides of the family and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Carl, are one son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Cindy Everitt of Mifflinburg; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Trena and Jim Shead of Conyers, GA, and Cindy and Derrick Moyer of Mifflinburg; 8 grandchildren, Kristen Shead, Brittney Shead, Elizabeth Odom, Jamie Luff, Matthew Everitt, Tylor Black, Teira Noll, Hunter Kahley, 3 step grandchildren, Trisha Moyer, Rebecca Moyer, Vanessa Moyer, 23 great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters-in-law, Max and Trena Zeller of Mifflinburg, and Barbara Zeller of Mifflinburg; and one sister, Linda Hollenbach of Mifflinburg.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Zeller.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 10- 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Hillside Bible Church, 1650 Centennial Rd. Mifflinburg, where the celebration of life service will be held at 11 with Pastor Robert Strobel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donna's memory may be sent to Hillside Bible Church, 1650 Centennial Rd. Mifflinburg.
