Dorothy (Ruth) Beiler, formerly of Mifflinburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Celebration Villa, Lewisburg.
She was born on June 5, 1936, in Sellersville, Bucks County, a daughter of the late Issac and Maggie (Fulmer) Ruth. She married the late Clarence W. Beiler on November 17, 1956, at Line Lexington Mennonite Church. Clarence’s passing on January 23, 2024, ended their marital union of 68 years.
Dorothy and her husband moved to Mifflinburg in 1958 and began dairy farming. In 1989, she began driving for USTA. After retiring from USTA in 2007, she helped her husband provide transportation for the Old Order Mennonite community.
She was a member of Boyer Mennonite Church, Middleburg, where she taught children’s Sunday School and Bible School classes for many years.
She is survived by five children, Janet (Sam) Miller of Ephrata, Linda Beiler of West Milton, Marilyn (Brian) King of Denver, PA, Ken (Karen) Beiler of Mifflinburg, and JoAnn (Ken) Blank of Middleburg; eight grandchildren, Ryan (DiAnne) Beiler of Middleburg, Jay Beiler of Raleigh, NC, Yvette Burr of Mifflinburg, Jeanette (Curt) Stackhouse of Bellefonte, Nathan (Sarah) Blank of Middleburg, Janelle Blank of Elk Grove, CA, Amanda King and Darren King, both of Denver, PA; and seven great-grandchildren, Colton Beiler, Jacob Beiler, Madison Burr, Colt Stackhouse, Adley Blank, Grant Taylor, and Brantlee Blank.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Naomi Ruth, Clarence (Ruth) Ruth, Esther (Ezra) Moyer, and Ernest (June) Ruth.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10 to 11 AM at Boyer Mennonite Church, 1472 West Ridge Road, Middleburg, where the funeral will be held at 11 AM, with Pastor Matt Schrag officiating.
