Dorothy Mae Solomon

Dorothy Mae Solomon, 94, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on September 22, 2026, at Oak Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born on August 9, 1932, in Jackson Twp., Snyder County, the daughter of the late Lee A. and Mary (Radel) Trevitz.  On February 14, 1951, she married Hall Solomon, who passed away on June 17, 2019. Together, they shared 68 years of memories.

She retired from Yorktowne Cabinets and earlier in her career worked at Laurelton Center.

She was a talented decorative painter for over 30 years and was a member of Mountain Laurel Brushstrokes. She loved her flower garden, playing bingo, and going to casinos with her husband and friends. She also loved shopping, taking a trip to the mall once a week for the best deals and a slice of hoagie pizza.

Surviving are one son, Hall E. Solomon, Jr., of Fort Pierce, FL; one daughter, Cindy D. Styers, and husband Joseph of Mifflinburg; one granddaughter, Brandy J. Styers of Mifflinburg; two great-grandchildren, Shayla and Chris Snook of Mifflinburg and Bon Styers and Cloey Yerger of Mifflinburg; two great-great-grandchildren, Jackson Snook and Joey Styers; and one brother, Jim Trevitz of Selinsgrove.

Private interment will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
