Elizabeth A. Betz

Elizabeth A. Betz, 78, of Sunbury, entered into rest at 11:46 pm on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Nursing and Rehabilitation at the Mansion, Sunbury.

Born on November 30, 1946, in Millmont, a daughter of the late Franklin D. Raker and Helen A. (Catherman) Raker. She was married to Clarence A. Betz, who preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School class of 1965.

Elizabeth worked for the former Huntingdon Throwing Mills in Mifflinburg.

She will be remembered as a humble lady with a heart of gold who loved and cared for everybody she met.

Surviving are five siblings: Evelyn Miller of Mifflinburg, Daniel Raker of Mifflinburg, Clarence Raker of Mifflinburg, Carol Shively of Indiana, PA, and Mary Martin of Millheim, and her niece, Bille Jo Raker, "Baby Sister" of Mazeppa. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
