Ervin Eugene Butch Nell, 71 , of 140 Birch Lane, Centre Hall, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellfonte.
He was born on October 02, 1940 in Marietta, the son of the late Ervin Edward and Jean Irene "Wilson" Nell. , He was married to the former Frances E. Ice, who survives.
Butch worked for 18 years at Hanover Foods, Centre Hall.
He was a member of Eisenburg Hunting Camp, Snow Shoe.
Butch enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending yard sales.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Larry "Little Butch" E. and Vanessa Halterman of Jersey Shore, Patrick "Buzz" E. and Missy Halterman of Elizabethtown, Tony Nell of Columbia, two daughters and one son-in-law, Elaina and Jeff Shultz of Elizabethtown, and Jody Nell of Columbia, five stepson; Mark Halterman, NicK Halterman, Willam Thomas, Joseph Bohannon, Erin Bohannon, one step-daughter, Melissa Jelinek of Kentucky, two brothers, Gordon Nell of Maytown, Tim Nell of Clearfield, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. .
Butch requested to be cremated with services to be conducted privately.
