Esther S. Beiler, 59, of Mifflinburg, formerly of Oldtown, MD, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Born on April 8, 1966, in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Hannah (Stoltzfus) Beiler.
Esther devoted much of her life to service and ministry. She began serving as a missionary in Belize, followed by years of faithful work at several faith-based missions, including Sunnyhaven, Faith Mission, Penn Valley (where she worked in kitchen), Slanesville West Virginia Teaching School, where she served as a tutor. She also served as Head Cook at Allegheny Boys’ Camp. Most recently, she was employed as a cashier at Davy’s Market in Lewisburg.
She was a member of Shady Grove Christian Fellowship, Lewisburg.
Esther enjoyed putting puzzles together, crocheting, and cooking. She was especially known for her homemade soft pretzels. She cherished time spent visiting with her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are nine siblings: Rachel (Phil) Schrock of Cumberland Furnace, TN; Elmer (Irene) Beiler of Mifflinburg; Jacob Beiler, Jr. of Ephrata; Jonas Beiler of Mifflinburg; Calvin Beiler of Englewood, FL; John (Lindsey) Beiler of Middleburg; Ervin (Cynthia) Beiler of Lewisburg; Linda (Amos) Stoltzfus of Middleburg; and Kathryn Beiler of Mifflinburg; as well as 27 nieces and nephews and 18 great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Lois Beiler, and a nephew, Jacob Lane Beiler.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Shady Grove Christian Fellowship Church, 5327 Buffalo Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, with the local church ministry officiating.
Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
