Evelyn Beatrice Krebs, 82, of 743 Mahoning St., formerly of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at Kramm Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born Nov. 12, 1929, in Muncy, a daughter of the late Mitchell Sr. and Mabel (Schooley) Rump. On July 2, 1950, she married Elwood Kenneth "Shorty" Krebs who passed away on July 7, 2006.
Evelyn was employed for over 40 years as a cafeteria worker for the Lewisburg Area School District.
She was a member of the Mazeppa Union Church.
Evelyn enjoyed camping, going for walks, collecting Indian folk art and Avon products. She loved life, spending time with family and friends and always made the holiday's memorable for her family.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Curtis C. and Vicki L. Krebs, of New Columbia; one daughter and her companion, Tina L. Schlief and David W. Page, of Middleburg; six grandchildren, Kylar J. Krebs, Jordan C. Krebs, Madison L. Krebs, Tamie L. Gates, Kristian T. Hummel, and William L. Schlief, Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Brady, Ryan, Hailee, Logan, Tristan, and Zander.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Claire Hoyles III; two sisters, Alvina and Mabel Rump; and two brothers, Mitchell Jr., and Bernard "Gene" Rump.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6to 8 p.m. Friday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Ricky Phillips, officiating.
Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
