Doyle, James E. beloved husband of Faith (Hulslander) Doyle passed away quietly at their home in Mifflinburg, PA on November 8, 2013 after bravely battling cancer for several months. Jim is also survived by his father and mother Michael and Diane Doyle; his aunt, Lynda Savage; his sister, Elizabeth (Gary) Daugherty; and his nephew, Matthew Suszka.
Jim pursued his deep passion in history through research and collecting non-fiction literature of all time periods as well as American Civil War reenacting, rising from the rank of Private to Lieutenant in the 155th New York Volunteer Infantry regiment, becoming a leader and mentor to many along the way. Jim also enjoyed exploring many different time periods of history through miniature war gaming, amassing an extensive collection of military miniatures spanning several time periods. A good friend, husband, and pard; Jim's hearty laugh will be deeply missed.
