James N. Lehman

James Neil Lehman, 75 of Allenwood entered into rest at 11:05 am on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his residence.

He was born July 6, 1936 in Watsontown, Pa the son of the late George and Mary (Schell) Lehman. On May 9, 1986 he married the former Christina L. Flood of Colorado whom he was married to for 26 years.

He graduated from Watsontown High School. After high school he enlisted in the Marine Corp from 1955-1957. He was in the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and played the trumpet.

Jim was employed by Philco in Watsontown and then eventually went on to work at Moore Business Forms where he retired after 32 years of service. He then worked as a security officer for American Home food and was a grounds keeper at White Deer Run.

Jim was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and was a Harley Owners Group lifetime member. He was also a 50 year member of the American Legion, was a member of the Watsontown Rod and Gun club for many years, and was a member of the Retreads Motorcycle club, as well as the Roadrunners.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed taking his grandson hunting. Jim and his wife enjoyed traveling all over the United States on their motorcycles.

Jim is survived by children, Jo Reichard of Mechanicsburg, PA, Timothy Guffey of Bellefonte, PA, Tina Prowant, of Lewisburg, grandchildren Andrea Johnsen, wife of Nick Johnsen of North Carolina, Erica Reichard of Mechanicsburg, PA, Darren and Andrew Guffey of Bellefonte, PA, Tadd J Prowant of Port Ann, PA and Colby Prowant of Sunbury, PA. Great grandchildren Spencer and Stella Johnsen of North Carolina, nieces Christine Foust of Watsontown, and Sally Wolf of Danville, PA.

He is preceded in death by his son James K. Lehman, one brother, John Lehman, one sister, Lois Wolf.

Jim was loved by all who knew him. He had a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, good father and grandfather, and a loyal friend, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was the epitome of what a true gentleman is.

As per Jim's wishes there will be no services.
