Jason Edward Stahl

Jason E. Stahl peacefully entered eternal rest on August 5, 2025, at the age of 26 years, 6 months, 15 days at the Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA, due to complications of leukemia.

He was born on January 21, 1999, in Mifflintown, PA.

He was the son of the late Murray and Maria (Peters) Stahl. On March 18, 2023, he was united in marriage to Brenda Faye VanPelt.

He is survived by his wife Brenda and young son Kelson of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, his mother Maria of Port Trevorton, PA, 6 brothers and 3 sisters, Timothy and wife Jennifer of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, Dianna and husband Terry Martin of Middleburg, PA, Chester at home, Gerald and wife Amanda of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, Stanley and wife Marjorie of Granville Summit, PA Elaine at home, Lynn and wife Amy of Dundee, NY, Joseph at home and Christina at home, father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Barbara VanPelt of Salem, OH, brothers and sisters-in-law Carlin and Elaine (VanPelt) Eberly, Ethan, Kendra, Juanita, Kristina, Rosetta VanPelt, also 19 nieces and nephews.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Murray M. Stahl.

In his youth, he accepted Christ as his Saviour and was a faithful member of the Bethel Mennonite Church.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Shade Mountain Mennonite Church, 134 Center Road, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with Pastor Daniel Beidler officiating.

Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
