Joshua Congdon Miller, 33, of Gerrardstown, WV entered into rest on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on June 02, 1983 in Lewisburg, the son of Sherry Lee Miller of Mifflinburg.
Joshua was a 2002 graduate of Mifflinburg High School, where he played football and baseball. Following high school he attended Lock Haven University.
For the past three years Joshua worked as a Safety Consultant for Safety and Environmental Engineering, Inc. Keedysville, MD. Prior to that Joshua was a self taught horse trainer, working for McCoy Farms in Carlisle, as well as Team Schmersal, Craig Johnson International, and Sunny Pines Farm.
Joshua was a member the National Reining Horse Association.
Joshua enjoyed following the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Hershey Bears. He enjoyed music and adored his two sons Aiden and Bryce.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, Aiden Michael Miller, Bryce Tomas Miller of Milford, Pa, two aunts, Jeannie and husband Bill Prye of McClure, and Debbie Miller. As well as, numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Kenneth L. and Anna E. Miller, maternal great grandparents, Roy and Mary Miller, and Charles and Alverna Valentine.
There will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to the visitation from 1 to 2 pm on Saturday April 1, 2017 at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg, where Joshua’s life celebration will be held at 2, with Pastor Wayne S. Krell, officiating.
Interment will be conducted privately in Swengel Old Cedars Cemetery.
