Julia Marino Becker, 70, of Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on October 11, 1955, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ralph and Doris (Strassner) Marino. On August 5, 1978, she married her high school (and forever) sweetheart, Wade E. Becker. Wade and Jules shared 47 years of marriage and 52 Valentine's Days together, filled with love, laughter, and the best of friendships.
Julia worked as a registered nurse until 1992, when Julia’s greatest prayer was answered, and she and Wade became proud parents to Jonathan. She devoted her life to raising Jon and was his #1 fan. She was a devout Catholic and a devoted member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Selinsgrove. Julia loved and appreciated all of the beauty in the world and nature, especially otters, birds, and her many family cats. Julia was a firm believer in enjoying life's sweet things and a strong proponent of dessert before dinner.
In addition to her loving husband, Wade, she is survived by her son, Jonathan Becker, and his partner, Meg Flatley; her brother, Thomas R. Marino; and her nephews, Corey and Zack Marino.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Vera Marino.
A private interment will be held at Northumberland Memorial Park in Stonington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Julia's memory may be sent to the National Scleroderma Foundation, https://scleroderma.org/ways-to-give/.
