June Eileen Rowe

June Eileen Rowe, 84, of Mifflinburg, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 28, 1940, in Mifflinburg, daughter of the late Bruce K. and Lilly Mary (Ulrich) Miller.

She graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 1958.

She was formerly employed by JPM, Milton Shoe Factory, as a foster grandparent for Summit Day Care in Mifflinburg.

June enjoyed singing, playing guitar, piano, and accordion, and listening to all kinds of music. She also enjoyed going to yard sales and riding around in the country. She loved anything related to nature. June was a devoted mother, and her family was her greatest joy.

She is survived by two sons, Duane Rowe and his fiance, Carolyn Adrian; her son, Steven, and his wife, Lori; and her daughter, Teresa Ewart, and her husband, Mike. June had 10 grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Steven Rowe, Jr., Matthew Delsite, Micah Rowe, Aleah Schlief, Ashlyn Yearick, Devin and Lance Sampsell, Shilo Rowe, Josh Delsite, Kaylee Rowe, and eight great-grandchildren.

She is survived by four sisters and one brother-in-law: Betty Wallace of Mifflinburg, Alena Kratzer of Selinsgrove, Christine Kratzer of Selinsgrove, and Roberta and Gerald Erdley of Lewisburg. She also has numerous nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cynthia Rose Miller; one grandson, Dakota Rowe; four brothers, Kenneth, Robert, Larry, and Clair Miller; and three sisters, Regina Reichelderfer, Loretta Smith, and Janet Pursel.

A Celebration of Life service to honor June's life will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Mazeppa Community Center, with the Rev. Robert Pyle officiating. Time to be determined.
