Linda L. Ramsey, 65, of Millmont passed away on
Thursday, June 27, 2013
at her residence .
She was born on July 07, 1947 in Lewisburg, the daughter of the late Leroy William and Evelyn Mae (Ulrich) Solomon. On July 26, 1986, she married George F. Ramsey, who survives. Together, they shared a total of 36 years of memories.
Linda attended Mooseheart School in Mooseheart, Illinois for most of her school career. After returning home, she became a 1965 graduate of Mifflinburg High School. She worked in the cafeteria at Bucknell University for a number of years.
Linda served as a member of the Moose, Chapter #1279. In addition, she enjoyed spending time outdoors especially, at a cabin during the winter months with her beloved husband. She also cherished the time spent with her granddaughters who she was so very proud of. She also looked forward to attending her weekly "Bingo Night" at the American Legion.
Surviving are one son and daughter in-law, Charles M. Bartholomew III and Tina of Danville, two brothers, Anthony and Sue Solomon of Winfield, Barry and Holly Solomon of Watsontown, two sisters Delores Solomon of New Berlin, Deborah Solomon Miller Murphy of Glen Iron, and four grandchildren, Coyla, Victoria, Hannah, and Charli Bartholomew.
She was preceded in death by one brother Kenneth Solomon, one sister, Sylvia Solomon Blackburn, three brothers-in-law, Kenny Miller, Mike Murphy, Ellsworth (Cub) Snook and one granddaughter, Charlotte in infancy.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at the West End Bible Fellowship. The date of the memorial service will be announced at the convenience of the family.
