Marian Klingman Ross, 95, of 70 Ross Lane, Mifflinburg passed away at 3:46 PM on Friday, November 7, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on June 2, 1919 in Mifflinburg, a daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Minerva (Riegle) Klingman.
She attended Mifflinburg High School and finished high school in Wheaton, MD. She furthered her education at Baylor University in Dallas, TX.
Marian worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Reading Rehabilitation Hospital for 18 years retiring in 1986.
She assisted the Union County blood mobile on blood drives and at Mifflinburg Bank and Trust doing blood pressure screening.
Marian was a member of the Milton Seven Day Adventist Church.
Marian enjoyed collecting state plates, paint, hook rugs, sew, crochet, and gardening. She also loved children and helping with her great grandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Delores W. Manning of Mifflinburg, Donna M. Ryan of Ruckersville, VA, two son, Roger W. and Linda Ross of Mifflinburg, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 11 great great-grandchildren, one sister, Fannie Grace Geiser of Sunbury, son-in-law, Kenneth R. Keister of Mifflinburg, and a half brother, Ernest Moll of Mifflinburg.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Betty Jane (Ross) Keister, son, Boyd T. Ross, brother John A. Klingman, sister, Ruth Alice Grove, step father, Henry Harrison Moll, two half sisters, Freida Moll, Irene Moll, two step sisters, Mary Green, Velma Moll, two half brothers, Charles Moll, Robert Moll, one step brother, Ralph E. Moll .
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 am on Friday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut Street, Mifflinburg where the funeral will be held at 11, with the Rev. Anthony Crawford, officiating.
Interment will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
