Mark M. Kurtz, 67, of Mifflinburg entered into rest at 12:50 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024 at his residence.

Born on May 2, 1957 in Reading, PA, a son of the late Norman and Anna O. (Martin) Kurtz. On May 20, 1978, he married the former Darlene Zimmerman Weaver, who survives.

Mark was a lifelong dairy and grain farmer.

He was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Morning Star Congregation, Mifflinburg.

Mark enjoyed traveling, metalworking, and general repair and fixing.

Surviving in addition to his wife Darlene, are 7 children and their spouses, Rachel and Eldon Bender, Mifflinburg, PA, Rosanna and Lavon Nolt, Bishopville, SC, Carolyn and Mark Bender, Mifflinburg, PA, Nathan and Carol Kurtz, Mifflinburg, PA, Philip and Lisa Kurtz, Mifflinburg, PA, Judith and Travis Peachey, Mifflinburg, PA, Kendall and Kimberly Kurtz, Lewisburg, PA, 11 siblings and their spouses, Elvin and Elva Kurtz, Scipio Center, NY, Alta and Menno Wenger, Middleburg, PA, Vera and Isaac Newswanger, Carson City, MI, Lloyd and Nancy Kurtz, Myerstown, PA, John and Arlene Kurtz, Beavertown, PA, Norman and Maryann Kurtz, Colby, WI, Mary and Lester Martin, Loyal, WI, Anna and Abraham Jr. Shirk, Hagerstown, MD, Mabel Kurtz, Hagerstown, MD, Sarah and Alvin Martin, Owen, WI, Ella and Nelson Ray Zimmerman, Loyal, WI, and three brothers-In-law, two sisters-in-law, 28 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Anna Kurtz, one grandson, Ethan Bender, one sister-in-law, Lucy Weaver, parents-in-law, Allen and Bertha Weaver.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Morning Star Congregation, 1871 Mensch Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday with Israel Wengerd and David Kurtz officiating.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

Arrangements are by Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg.
