Myron Lee Eberhart

June 11, 1940 — October 6, 2023

Myron Lee Eberhart, 83, of Winfield passed away on Friday,October 6, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center. Born on June 11, 1940 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Myron and Helen (Siegfried) Eberhart.  On August 14, 1960 he married the former Edith Greiner, who passed away on December 25, 2007.

He was a graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School class of 1958 and took classes in forestry management at Penn State University. He was a member of St. John's Union Church in Dry Valley. He contributed to his community by serving on the Mifflinburg Area School District school board for many years.

Lee worked his way up from estimator to president of Faylor-Middlecreek, Inc, in Winfield. After the company was purchased, he went on to be a consultant in the road construction industry. He then started doing transport for local companies with his own company, M.L.E. Trucking, LLC.

He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting. Lee traveled most of the US with his family and liked exploring new places. In later years he drove all over Pennsylvania for his work. In his spare time, he loved football, reading, talking with friends, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are three daughters and one son and their spouses, Lisa Deardorff of Chino Valley, AZ, Shelly (David) Frie of Virginia Beach, VA, Nathan Eberhart of Tallahassee, FL, Deena Eberhart (Todd Fogle) of Lewisburg, two grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica) Deardorff of Chino Valley, AZ, Lindsey Deardorff (Colten Donaldson) of Prescott, AZ, three great grandchildren, Weston, Lennon, and Hailey, and one brother, Brian Eberhart of Crozet, VA.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Eberhart.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1 to 2pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Mazeppa Union Church, 3200 Johnson Mill Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 2pm with Pastor Ricky Phillips performing the service.

 Interment will be in the Ray's Church (St. Peter's Lutheran and Reformed) Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lee's memory may be sent to St. John's Union Church, 3667 SR-304, Winfield, PA 17889 or to Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation at https://paparksandforests.org/.
