Patricia Ann Ciabocchi

Patricia (Pat) Flint Ciabocchi, 92, of Lewisburg, PA, passed away the morning of September 25, 2026, at her home in the Asbury Riverwoods senior community surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Robert (Joe) Ciabocchi, in 2018 after a 65-year marriage.

Pat was born in Manchester, England in the home of her parents, Hugh Bennett and Ethel (Hill) Flint, on June 27, 1934. She was the second of seven siblings and attended public schools in the Manchester area. Her younger twin siblings, Sheridan and Timothy, died shortly after birth in 1946. Her youngest brother, Martin Jonathan, was tragically killed in an airplane collision in 1976. Her eldest sister, Beryl, passed away in 2004.

Upon completing school, Pat worked locally as a telephone operator. She met her future husband, Joe, at a dance club that was frequented by US soldiers stationed nearby during the Korean War. Pat and Joe were married in Manchester on August 8, 1953 in a double wedding ceremony with Pat's older sister, Beryl, and her American GI husband. Shortly thereafter, they moved back to Joe's home town of Scranton, PA and began raising a family, eventually moving to Harrisburg, PA in the early 1960's.

Pat was a person of many talents, including cooking, baking, arts and crafts, sewing, and knitting. She was a fan of the performing arts, including popular music, dance, Broadway, and movies. She was a great dancer and an avid reader. She and Joe had a wide circle of friends and neighbors and threw legendary parties in their Lenker Manor home. In the early 1980's, Pat and Joe purchased Sheshequin Campground in Trout Run, PA, which they operated for 26 years before retiring.

Pat is survived by her children, Robert, Michael, and Elizabeth Ciabocchi; 8 grandchildren, Sara (Brett) Bateman, Nicole (Justin) Yetzer, Robert Joseph (RJ) Ciabocchi, Timothy Ciabocchi, Lisa (Zachary) Boleware, Lauren (Chase) Calcagni, Jordan Polis and Ethan Polis; 7 great grandchildren, Hugh Yetzer, Stella Yetzer, Della Bateman, twins Eleanor and Elizabeth Bateman, and Teddy and Lucy Boleware; her siblings, Hugh T. Flint and Rosalind E. Follett, and a number of extended family members in the US and UK.

Pat's family will miss her tremendously and remember their beautiful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with love and gratitude for the many years they had together. A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
