Richard B. Brubaker, 45, of Port Trevorton, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center.
Born on August 17, 1980, in Ephrata, Lancaster County, a son of Leon Brubaker and Miriam (Brubaker) Brubaker of Port Trevorton. On April 28, 2005, he married the former Suzanne A. Stauffer, who survives. Together, they shared many years of memories.
He was a member of the Stauffer Old Order Mennonite Church ( Verdilla District), Port Trevorton.
Richard co-owned and operated a woodworking shop.
Richard is survived by four children: Tyler, Keith, Heather, and Corey, all at home; nine siblings and their spouses: Sharon and Ray Zimmerman of New York, Curvin and Linda (Weaver) Brubaker of Port Trevorton, Carolyn Brubaker of Vicksburg, Dwayne and Rosalyn (Weaver) Brubaker of Port Trevorton, Mary Lou and Dean Ray Martin of Port Trevorton, Merle and Louann (Zimmerman) Brubaker of Port Trevorton, Lamar and Lori (Sensenig) Brubaker of Wilkes Barre, Rosanna and Stanley Martin of Ohio, and Diane and Wesley Zimmerman of Port Trevorton; and mother-in-law, Grace Stauffer of Leonard, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Daniel Stauffer.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Stauffer Old Order Mennonite Church (Verdilla District). The family service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the family residence, 1869 Chapman Hollow Road, Port Trevorton, with further services at 12:30 p.m. at Stauffer Old Order Mennonite Church (Verdilla District), Produce Road, Port Trevorton, with the local ministry officiating.
Interment will be in the adjoining Church Cemetery.
