Roger Eugene Dunkle

Roger Eugene Dunkle, 82, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on March 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Willis and Gladys (Gessner) Dunkle. On May 4, 1968, at Christ's United Lutheran Church, he married the former Marjorie Ann Adams, who survives. Together they shared more than 58 years of marriage.

Roger was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School, Class of 1962.

Roger began his working career with Glenn Smith Construction before dedicating 49 years of service to Agway/Cargill. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment throughout his career.

He enjoyed bowling, softball, baseball, fishing, and hunting. Above all, Roger treasured spending time with his family and his beloved dogs and cats.

Roger was a faithful member of Christ's United Lutheran Church.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie; one daughter, Rebecca Ann Dunkle; one son, Eric Roger Dunkle and his wife, Nicole; and one cherished granddaughter, Ellary Arica Bunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Aikey and Jean Klinger; two brothers, John Dunkle and Kenneth Dunkle; and one sister in infancy.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
