Tammy Sue Keister

Tammy Sue Keister, 59, of Danville, entered into rest on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, surrounded by family.

Born on November 16, 1966, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Zeiber and Barbara Ann Brown.

Tammy graduated from Milton High School in 1984.

Tammy had a caring heart and devoted much of her life to helping others. She worked as a CNA and caregiver for the elderly, a role that reflected her compassion and desire to care for those around her.

She deeply appreciated creativity and the natural world. Tammy loved painting, gardening, cooking, researching plant medicines, spending time in nature, visiting the river, bicycling, stargazing, sewing, reading, keeping a journal, and thrift shopping. Above all, she cherished spending time with her children and family.

Tammy's faith was an important part of her life. She loved her relationship with Jesus and enjoyed sharing her faith and telling others about Jesus.

Surviving are her seven children, Kayla (age 41) and her husband, Patrick Snyder, of Lewisburg, Kelsey (age 34) and her husband, Mark Stone, of Shamokin, Kyle (age 32) Keister of Shamokin, Kurtis ( age 26) Keister of Bloomsburg, Kody (age 22) Keister of Utica, Ohio, Kory ( age 21) Keister of Shamokin, and KeAnna ( age 17) Keister at home; six grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, Juliet, Savannah, Clay, and Liam; and four siblings, Kathy Matteson, Jeanette Erb, Raymond Zeiber, and Stacy Porter.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Adamo Funeral Home, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg. A graveside service will be held privately at Mazeppa Cemetery, Lewisburg.
