Twila L. Lose, 87, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on June 8, 2026, at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital.
Born October 1, 1938, in West Buffalo Township, she was a daughter of the late Norman E. Heimbach and Mildred Edna (Aikey) Heimbach. On June 22, 1991, she married James T. Lose, who preceded her in death.
Twila was employed as a seamstress throughout much of her life, working at the former Huntingdon Throwing Mills, Par-Knit, and Kan-Tracker. She also worked at the Forest House Hotel. A determined and hardworking woman, she earned her GED at the age of 49.
She was of the Mormon faith and found joy in life's simple pleasures. Twila enjoyed listening to old country music, attending yard sales, working puzzles, painting, creating ceramics, and reading books.
Surviving are her three children, Norman Reich and his wife, Kelly, of New Berlin, Henry Reich, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Mifflinburg, and Norma Reich of Mifflinburg; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Felicia, Ashley, Natasha, Nelson, Maggie, Carrie, and Jamie; twelve great-grandchildren, Taliah, Amari, Anthony, Jaden, Mariah, Taija, Isaiah, Joel, Giovanna, Jordan, Emma, and Brennon; additional great-grandchildren, Ryan, Logan, and Trinity; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Merrill and Carole Heimbach of Mifflinburg; and a sister, Joyce Gable of Northumberland.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, five sisters, and one grandchild.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at Adamo Funeral Home, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allen Smith officiating.
Interment will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Twila's memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
