Victor E. Snyder

After a brief stay at Rolling Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Millmont, Victor E. Snyder passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 99.

Victor was a lifelong Lewisburg resident. For 42 years, he worked as a grower for Martin's Greenhouse before retiring in 1988. Victor loved to fish and cultivate lilies. He earned the nickname "the bicycle man of Lewisburg" because he enjoyed riding his bike around the community. When he was no longer able to ride, he continued to walk about the town well into his 90s, frequently covering up to five miles each day.

Victor was pre-deceased by his parents, Raymond P. and Ruth Pardoe Snyder, as well as his brother, Donald Snyder Sr., of Mifflinburg, and his sister, Dorothy Hause, of Lewisburg. He is survived by a nephew, Donald Snyder, Jr., and a niece, Donna Snyder Belleson.

A member of St. John's United Methodist Church, a graveside memorial service will be conducted at the Lewisburg Cemetery by Pastor Alice, on June 25th at 10:00 AM. Burial arrangements are being handled by Dominick Adamo Funeral Home of Mifflinburg.
