Viola I. Havice, 80, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on May 13, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by family.
Born on April 17, 1946, in Sunbury, she was the daughter of the late Isiah and Eunice Barnes Radel. She was married to John E. Havice, who survives. Together, they shared many years of memories.
Viola worked for 30 years as a laborer at the Middleburg Yarn Factory.
She enjoyed crocheting, riding her bike, watching soap operas, going fishing, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Surviving are her husband, John; her children, Sharon Kofoed, Jacqueline Gibboney, James Hartswick, Jr., and Rebecca Dunkle; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Renea Schnee, Jerry Radel, and Marion Pick.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn M. Grove; granddaughter, Daisy; and siblings, Kathy, Jim, Diane, Adeline, and Mary Lou.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the Mifflinburg Cemetery.
