Yvonne M. Roadarmel

Yvonne M. Roadarmel, 83, of Port Trevorton, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born on July 1, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Alexson. Yvonne was married to Charles Raymond Roadarmel, who survives.

She was formerly employed at Bucknell University and operated Farpoint Collie Rescue.

Yvonne had a remarkable love for animals, especially dogs. She devoted much of her life to caring for, rescuing, and finding loving homes for dogs in need. Through Farpoint Collie Rescue, she touched the lives of countless animals and families, always going above and beyond to ensure every dog had the chance to experience a safe, loving home.

Her compassion extended far beyond animal rescue. Yvonne was a caring and generous person who willingly gave her time and energy to help others. She had a special gift for bringing people and animals together, creating lasting bonds and friendships along the way.

Yvonne's kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for animals will forever be her legacy. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Charles, of Port Trevorton, are one son, Derek Wetzel of Florida; one sister, Dawn, and her husband, Don Heimbaugh; and the many friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
