Forest Lee McClintock

Forest "Woody" Lee McClintock, 75, of Mifflinburg passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at his residence on Old Turnpike RD, Mifflinburg.

Born on April 29, 1945 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Paul Chester McClintock and Faye K. Strickler Lyons. On August 23, 1970, he married the former Denise Loraine Zimmerman, who survives.

Woody was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School Class of 1964.

He had served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Woody was a sales agent/manager for Prudential Insurance, he had received many awards for his performance. Following his retirement he sold vehicles for different dealerships . Earlier in life he worked for ACF in Milton.

He enjoyed hunting, golfing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was a fan of the Phillies, Eagles, and Penn State. He has served as an assistant football coach for Southern Columbia for several years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, is one son, Shawn Patrick McClintock of Berwick, one granddaughter, Gabrielle Grace McClintock of Wilkes-Barre, Two sisters, Joyce Bartolo of Mifflinburg, Cindy Pfirman of Middleburg, four brothers, Larue "Red" Lyons Jr of Weikert, Randy Lyons of Millmont, Doug Lyons of Millmont, Les Lyons of Mifflinburg. His cousin/sister, Carol Catherman McJilton of Mifflinburg.

Preceding him in death was one daughter, Shannon Loraine McClintock, Jan 8, 1991, One son Matthew McClintock, two brothers, Paul and Carl McClintock, one sister, Sandy Aikey. Also is the late Theodore and Carolyn Catherman, who helped raise Woody.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at on Sunday, August 23, 2020 from 1 to 4 pm at 343 Turtle Creek Road, Lewisburg, in the pavilion. Feel free to stop in anytime during those hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Woody's memory may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
