Nora Hoover Martin, 76, of Millmont entered into rest on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Evangelical Community Hospital.

Born on September 23, 1944 in Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Amos N. and Alice (Hoover) Hoover. On March 02, 1967, in Ephrata Twp., Lancaster, County she married Eli M. Martin, who survives. This past March they celebrated 53 years of marriage.

Nora was a member of the Mountain View Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving in addition to her husband is 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Anna Mae Z. Martin of Millmont, Earl Ray and Edna M.Z. Martin of Elma, IA, Glenn Eugene and Darlene N. Martin of Millmont, son-in-law Aaron Zimmerman of Selinsgrove, 21 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 brothers, Joseph H. and Margaret Z. Hoover of Millmont, John H. and Verna L. Hoover of Millmont, Amos H. and Elizabeth M. Hoover of Mifflinburg, Raymond H. and Rachel H. Hoover of Dundee, NY, Lewis H. and Brenda M. Hoover of Mifflinburg, 9 sisters, Ada H. and Jonathan H. Martin of New Holland, Verna H. and Carl Duke of Mifflinburg, Anna H. and Phares Z. Horning of Mifflinburg, Alice H. and Wesley King of Guatemala, Edna H. Weaver of Millmont, Minnie H. and Steve Peachey of Reedsville, Etta H. and Joseph N. Zimmerman of Dorchester, WI, Lucy H. and Edward H. Martin of Mifflinburg, Louella H. and Edward Z. Zimmerman of Stevens, and one sister-in-law, Mary M. Hoover of Mifflinburg.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Erla Zimmerman, one brother, Allen H. Hoover, and brother-in-law, Raymond N. Weaver.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the residence of her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Anna Mae Martin, 14340 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont, where the funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020. Further services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Mountain View Old Order Mennonite Church, Kaiser Run Road,Millmont, officiating will be Bishop Irvin Zimmerman.

Interment will be in Mountain View Old Order Mennonite Church Cemetery, Millmont.
