Pat and Cathi,,
Our family and the Carr family have remained treasured friends over the last nearly 61 years!  How I remember Becky and Margo often climbing the indoor steps to the third-floor apartment at 247 Chestnut Street just to "play" with our two-month old baby the year of late '60-'61.
After your family moved to Old Orchard Lane, the friendship continued:  Visits with George and Julia , much later having lunch with Margo and Jan Edwards, and only a couple summers ago, having dinner with Becky and you at the Middleburg Hotel.
We will be here for you over the next 60 years, Pat !?
Too many happy, too many sad memories to sever the tie.
We grieve with you on the passing of Becky.  God give her eternal peace.

I created this art in memory of Becky, the one who introduced me to photography when I was about 12 years old. Though we were not close in the later years, due to distance and our lives simply going in different directions, I will always be grateful for her push into this journey where I am today. I never imagined when she was showing me how to take photos around my grandparents home and garden, that someday, I would be experiencing the joy of photographing eagles and other wildlife. Though, there was some deer up there, that I would spend hours watching, I never knew then that I would end up doing what I do today. Everything happens for a reason, they say.
