Steven Lynn Norrick

Steven Lynn Norrick, 74, of Mifflinburg entered into rest on Friday, June 19, 2020 at his residence following a battle with Parkinson's disease and Lewy Body Dementia.

Born on May 6, 1946 in Oakland City, Indiana, a son of the late Walter and Roberta June (Beasley) Norrick. On June 04, 1988, he married the former Elaine Marie Shrawder, who survives.

Steve was a graduate of Francisco High School, Indiana.

He was a veteran of the United State Air Force.

Steve retired in 1996 from R.B. Winter State Park working in the maintenance department.

He attended the Mifflinburg Alliance Church

Steve enjoyed reading, woodworking, and was a great handyman.

Surviving in addition to his wife and caregiver of 32 years, is one daughter, Beth L. Strausser of Danville, one son, Shawn L. and wife Charity S. Norrick of Mifflinburg, two step children, Daniel and wife Melissa Vanderpool of Omaha, NE, Philip Vanderpool of Parsippany, NJ, six grandchildren, Tori, Eli, Caleb, Eliza, Elaina, Ezra, two brothers, Larry and wife Wanda Norrick of Franklin, TX, Dennis and wife Janie Norrick of Highlandville, MS, and one sister, Kay Radenspiel of Illinois.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Annette Morgan.

Family and Friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June, 24, 2020 and on Thursday from 10 to 11 am at Adamo's, 16 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will follow at 11 with Pastor Don Hewlett, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve's memory may be sent to Parkinson Research Foundation, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd., Suite 100, Sarasota, FL 34232 or to the Mifflinburg Alliance Church, 80 Church Road, Mifflinburg, Pa 17844.

The family would like to thank the, caregivers, staff and volunteers of the Miller Center, the Doctors, and the drivers of the Rabbit Transportation service for their wonderful care and service.
