William "Bill" Frederick Heinel III, 72, of Selinsgrove entered into rest at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at his residence.

Born on July 26, 1947 in Highland Park, IL a son of the late William Frederick Heinel, Jr and Shirley J. Heinel. On August 3, 1979, he married the former Eileen Mary Bradbury, who survives.

Bill graduated from Collingswood High School NJ in 1965 where he was captain of the Cross Country team.

He served in the U.S. Army as radio operative during in the Vietnam War, from Oct 1967 to Oct 1970 and was honorable discharge in 1973.

Bill worked as a Building Superintendent, Electrician, Locksmith, and Musician. Bill started playing the guitar at the early age of ten. He started playing in bands in high school and continued till late in his life; playing in many bands over the years. Bill was an avid player of guitar and bass, but enjoyed playing all kinds of different instruments. He spent endless hours creating his own music. His love for music was immeasurable.

Surviving are wife, Eileen Heinel, daughter, Lena Heinel, son, Zachary Heinel, daughter, Laura Marchewka, brothers Gordon and Brett, grandchildren, Zoey, Alivia, Jesse, Wade, Wyatt, Hanna and Jenna.

Services will be private at the discretion of family.
